SYBR Premix Ex Taq II (Tli RNase H Plus)

SYBR Premix Ex Taq II (Tli RNaseH Plus) is a qPCR reagent designed for intercalator-based real time PCR (qPCR) using SYBR Green I. It is supplied at a 2X concentration premixed with SYBR Green I at a concentration appropriate for real time monitoring, making it easy to prepare reaction mixtures. The 2X Premix has a modified buffer composition that limits primer dimer formation and nonspecific amplification in the qPCR reaction. The Premix also contains Tli RNaseH, a heat-resistant RNase H, which minimizes inhibition of the qPCR reaction due to residual mRNA when using cDNA as a template.

Like Takara’s other SYBR Premix Ex Taq products, SYBR Premix Ex Taq II (Tli RNaseH Plus) contains Ex Taq HS, a hot start PCR enzyme that uses an anti-Taq antibody, allowing highly reproducible and reliable real time PCR analyses. This qPCR reagent provides higher reaction specificity than that of SYBR Premix Ex Taq (Tli RNaseH Plus) and superior performance when using GC rich templates.

Two ROX reference dyes are supplied as separate components with Cat.# RR820A, RR820B, RR820L and RR820W. These serve as convenient internal reference standards for use in normalizing signals due to non-PCR related fluorescence fluctuations that occur either between wells or over time in different instruments.

Cat.# RR820L and RR820W are larger package sizes (5 mL and 25 mL (5 x 5 mL), respectively) of SYBR Premix Ex Taq II (Tli RNase H Plus). Each of these provides convenient larger packaging, and is supplied with a single, separate vial of ROX Reference Dye.

Cat.# RR82LR and RR82WR are larger package sizes (5 mL and 25 mL (5 x 5 mL), respectively) with the ROX reference dye included in the premix.

Storage

4°C

Note: Product is stable for up to 6 months when stored at 4ºC. Protect this kit from light and avoid contamination. This kit is shipped in a package containing dry ice. Store the kit protected from light at 4ºC after its receipt. For long-term storage, keep it at –80ºC. (Do not store at –20ºC). Store thawed product at 4ºC and use it within 6 months.

PCR Performance Test

Consistent amplification results were confirmed by SYBR Green I detection of PCR products in real time using a 300 bp lambda DNA template and a Smart Cycler real time PCR instrument.
