TaqMan Master Mix: Premix Ex Taq (Probe qPCR)

The Takara Bio Premix Ex Taq (Probe qPCR) is a 2X TaqMan Master Mix for real-time PCR (qPCR) using TaqMan® probe detection. The 2X TaqMan Master Mix includes TaKaRa Ex Taq HS, a hot start PCR enzyme in combination with anti-Taq antibody, in a qPCR optimized buffer. TaKaRa Ex Taq HS inhibits non-specific amplification while enabling high efficiency amplification and detection sensitivity during real-time PCR analyses. Additionally, Tli RNase H, a heat-resistant RNase enzyme, is included in the real time PCR premix in order to minimize PCR inhibition due to the presence of residual mRNA in the input cDNA. This TaqMan Master Mix product is ideal for high-speed PCR, allows accurate target quantification and detection over a broad dynamic range, and enables highly reproducible and reliable real-time PCR analyses.

Two tubes of ROX Reference Dye are supplied separately with Cat. #RR390A/B and RR390L/W. The ROX Dye serves as a convenient internal reference standard when normalizing signals resulting from non-PCR fluorescence fluctuations that occur between wells or over time in different instruments.

Cat.# RR390L/W are larger package sizes (5 mL and 25 mL (5 x 5 mL), respectively) of Premix Ex Taq (Probe qPCR). Each of these items provides convenient larger packaging and is supplied with a single, separate vial of ROX Reference Dye.

Cat.# RR39LR/WR are larger package sizes (5 mL and 25 mL (5 x 5 mL), respectively) that already contain ROX Reference Dye in the Real Time PCR Premix.

Use ROX Reference Dye II for 7500 Real-Time PCR System and 7500 Fast Real-Time PCR System. Use the ROX Reference Dye at a final concentration of 1X and the ROX Reference Dye II at a final concentration of 0.5X. No Reference Dye is required when using Thermal Cycler Dice® Real Time System II , SmartCycler® System or LightCycler®.

Storage

Store at 4°C (stable for up to 6 months).

* Avoid contamination.

  • This product is shipped frozen at -20°C. Store the product at 4°C following receipt. Before use, gently invert tube to make sure reagent is completely dissolved and evenly mixed.
  • This product may be frozen at -20°C long-term. Once thawed, it should be stored at 4°C and used within 6 months.
