Premix Ex Taq (Probe qPCR)

Premix Ex Taq (Probe qPCR) is a 2X premix for real-time PCR (qPCR) detection with TaqMan® probe detection. The 2× premix TaKaRa Ex Taq HS, includes a hot start PCR enzyme with an anti-Taq antibody, and a buffer optimized for real-time PCR (qPCR) using probe detection. The resulting premix allows excellent suppression of non-specific amplification, high amplification efficiency, and high detection sensitivity in real-time PCR analyses. In addition, Tli RNaseH, a heat-resistant RNaseH, is included to minimize PCR inhibition from residual mRNA in reactions using cDNA templates. This product is excellent for high-speed PCR and allows accurate target quantification and detection over a broad dynamic range making it possible to conduct highly reproducible and reliable real-time PCR analyses.

Additionally, two tubes of ROX Reference Dyes are supplied as separate components with Cat.# RR390A, RR390B, RR390L and RR390W. These serve as convenient internal reference standards for use in normalizing signals due to non-PCR related fluorescence fluctuations that occur either between wells or over time in different instruments.

Cat.# RR390L and RR390W are larger package sizes (5 mL and 25 mL (5 x 5 mL), respectively) of Premix Ex Taq (Probe qPCR). Each of these provides convenient larger packaging, and is supplied with a single, separate vial of ROX Reference Dye.

Cat.# RR39LR and RR39WR are larger package sizes (5 mL and 25 mL (5 x 5 mL), respectively) that contain ROX Reference Dye in the premix.

Use ROX Reference Dye for ABI PRISM® 7000/7700, 7300 Real-Time PCR System, and StepOnePlus™ Real-Time PCR System. Use ROX Reference Dye II for 7500 Real-Time PCR System and 7500 Fast Real-Time PCR System. Use the ROX Reference Dye at a final concentration of 1× and the ROX Reference Dye II at a final concentration of 0.5×. No dye is required when using Thermal Cycler Dice® Real Time System II , Smart Cycler® System, or LightCycler®.

Storage

Store at 4°C (stable for up to 6 months).

* Every precaution should be taken to avoid contamination.

  • This product is shipped frozen at -20°C. Store the product at 4°C after receipt. Before use, gently invert tube to make sure reagent is completely dissolved and evenly mixed.
  • This product may be frozen at -20°C for long term storage. Once thawed, it should be stored at 4°C and used within 6 months.
