One-Shot LA PCR Mix

Takara's One-Shot LA PCR Mix enables long range PCR. This long and accurate PCR enzyme premix is composed of TaKaRa LA Taq, LA PCR Buffer II and dNTPs provided at 2X concentration in 25 µL aliquots. These aliquots are predispensed into 0.2 mL PCR tubes. By adding an equal volume of solution containing DNA template and primers to each 0.2 mL PCR tube, a complete and ready-to-amplify reaction is obtained.

One-Shot LA PCR Mix* 24 x 25 µL

*Contains TaKaRa LA Taq, LA PCR Buffer II (2K conc; including 5 mM Mg2+) and dNTPs.

Storage

–20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaws by aliquoting into separate tubes and store at –20°C.

PCR Products

PCR products generated with TaKaRa LA Taq contain a mixture of 3'-A overhangs and blunt ends, allowing >80% cloning efficiency into T-vectors. However, the cloning efficiency of longer inserts (>5 kb) into T-vectors is quite low.
