Fruitmate for RNA Purification is used when extracting total RNA from plant samples (root crop, fruit, seed, etc.) that may contain large quantities of polysaccharides or polyphenols.
Fruitmate contains a non-ionic polymer that binds to substances such as polysaccharides or polyphenols. These substances can then be easily removed from the homogenized sample by binding with Fruitmate, and performing centrifugation.
RNA extraction from plants which have been difficult using standard RNA extraction kits can be performed effectively with Fruitmate. Extracting RNA from plants has been difficult in the past, but Fruitmate has made the process easy and effective.
