Takara's Random Primers are composed of 6-mer or 9-mer deoxyribonucleotide mixtures that are composed of a random sequence (up to 46 or 49 different sequences, respectively) and a phosphorylated 5'-end.
Both the pd(N)6 (80 nmol) and pd(N)9 (50 nmol) random primers contain approximately 150 µg (5 OD) and are ideal for use in cDNA synthesis, RT-PCR and hybridization applications.
