Phosphorylated Linkers

Takara's phosphorylated linkers are cloning reagents that contain a phosphate group at their 5'-end, enabling them to be used directly in linker ligation during cloning experiments. The in-frame cloning of a target gene into a vector can be easily performed by using a phosphorylated linker length (e.g., 10 mer, 8 mer, 6 mer) that results in the desired reading frame.

These products are provided as single-stranded oligonucleotides. For use in subsequent reactions, dissolve in a buffer such as TE, incubate at 70°C for 10 minutes and anneal by cooling slowly.
