Definition of ActivityBeta-1,6 glucanase activity: One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme required to release 1 micromole of reduced sugar from 10 mg/mL Pustulan solution in 1 min. at 37°C (pH 6.0). Lytic activity: One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme required to decrease 660 nm absorbance by 1% in 1 min. at 30°C (pH 6.0) when using Cryptococcus albidus IFO 0612 cell wall fraction as a substrate.
Specific Activity- Beta-1,6 glucanase activity: 400 units/g
