Tris Buffer Powder

In molecular biology experiments, Tris buffer is used in many applications. These products are powders for preparing Tris buffers; each individual powder-containing pouch yields 1 L of I M Tris-HCL buffer.

Final solution (one pouch): 1 L of 1 M Tris-HCl

Storage

Store powder at room temperature.

Preparation

Empty the contents of one pouch in a flask or beaker. Add 300 mL of distilled water or deionized water and stir the solution for a few minutes. Adjust the volume to 1000 mL and stir until completely dissolved.
