Lacto-N-Biosidase

This product specifically hydorolyzes oligosaccharides with type I chain and produces lacto-N-biose (Gal β 1-3 GlcNAc), but does not hydorolyze oligosaccharides with type II chain; thus, it can be used to judge the structure of type I, II glycoprotein and glycolipid sugar chains. Also as it can distinguish Lewisa structure from Lewisx structure in conjunction with α -1,3/4-Fucosidase, this enzyme is useful in analyzing the structure and function of glycoprotein and glycolipid sugar-chains. One vial of this product (100 µU) allows 50–100 reactions of enzyme digestion of sugar chain up to 10 pmol.
