EGCase II ACT RE

Recombinant Endoglycoceramidase II with Activator II is an enzyme that will cleave the linkage between oligosaccharides and ceramide of various acidic and neutral glycosphingolipids producing oligosaccharides and ceramides.

This enzyme does not hydrolyze: cerebrosides, sulfatides, sphingomyelin, glycoglycerolipids, glycoprotein and galactosylceramide linkage of gala-type glycosphingolipids. EGCase II ACT RE can hydrolyze cell surface glycosphingolipids of living cells without damaging other cell components

Storage

Store at or below –20°C until use. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles results in a loss of enzyme activity. Keep the solubilized enzyme at 4°C and use it up within 2–3 days.
