Anti-Histone Antibodies

Anti-histone antibodies for the study of histone modifications related to epigenetic analysis. These antibodies may be used for chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) assays.

  • Host: Mouse
  • Antigen: for antibodies to Histone H3, the antigen is a 13 amino acid peptide from the N-terminus of human Histone H3.1. For antibodies recognizing phosphorylated Ser14 on Histone 2B (Cat. # MA251B), the antigen is a 19-amino acid peptide surrounding Ser14 of human Histone H2B.
  • Buffer: PBS + 0.05% sodium azide
  • Immunoprecipitation: 1–5 µg/5 µL Sepharose
  • Immunostaining: 0.5–1 µg/mL
  • Immunoblot: 0.5–1 µg/mL

Notes

Mouse IgG has weak combination with protein A and protein G. Please use the beads which connect anti-mouse IgG antibodies such as anti-mouse IgG sepharose for immunoprecipitation.
