Mouse Heme Oxygenase-1 EIA Kit is a sandwich ELISA kit that uses 2 types of antibodies that recognize mouse heme oxygenase-1 and provides a convenient and highly sensitive method for detecting heme oxygenase-1 expressed in response to stress induction.
Heme oxygenase is known to exist as at least two isozymes (heme oxyganase-1 and heme oxganase-2). While heme oxgenase-2 is a consititutive enzyme, heme oxiganase-1(HO-1) is an enzyme whose expression is induced intracellularly in response to various type of stress.
