Tartrate-Resistant Acid Phosphatase (TRAP) Polyclonal Antibody

Tartrate-Resistant Acid Phosphatase (TRAP, also referred to as TRACP) is expressed in osteoclasts, neurons and activated macrophages. Overexpression of TRAP has been associated with disease states such as Gaucher's disease, B- and T-cell leukemias and osteoporosis. The anti-TRAP Polyclonal Antibody reacts against the C-terminal peptide of rat Tartrate-Resistant Acid Phosphatase (TRAP).

  • Western blot
  • Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded and frozen tissue sections

Rabbit polyclonal antibody was raised against the (305-325) [TYIEASGKSLFKTRLPRRARP] peptide at the C-terminal of KLH-conjugated Rat Tartrate-Resistant Acid Phosphatase (TRAP).

Lyophilized antibody is stable at 4°C for 2 years. The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for 6 months and at –20°C for 1 year. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The diluted antibody should not be stored.

Dissolve the lyophilized antibody in 50 µl of distilled water (final concentration: 2.0 mg/ml).

This antibody recognizes the amino acid sequence of rat TRAP peptide (305-325) [TYIEASGKSLFKTRLPRRARP].
