Monoclonal Anti-Human Osteocalcin (Clone GluOC4-5 and Clone 5-12H)
Takara Bio offers antibodies for detection of human osteocalcin. Monoclonal Anti-Human Undercarboxylated Osteocalcin (Clone GluOC4-5) was raised against human osteocalcin peptide and specifically recognizes human osteocalcin with decarboxylated glutamic acid residues. This antibody does not recognize Gla-type osteocalcin. Monoclonal Anti-Human Osteocalcin (Clone 5-12H) was obtained by fusing mouse myeloma cell-line P3U1 with C57BL6 mouse spleen cells following immunization with keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH)-conjugated to human osteocalcin peptide (amino acid residues 1-6). This monoclonal antibody was harvested from severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID) mouse ascitic fluid, and is useful for detection of full-length human osteocalcin.
