Dentin Matrix Protein-1 (DMP-1 or DMP1) Antibody

Dentin matrix protein-1 is an acidic extracellular matrix phosphoprotein. DMP-1 is required for mineralization of bone and dentin, and is therefore expressed in cells of bone and teeth tissue. It is thought to play a role in regulating expression of osteoblast-specific genes during osteblast cell differentiation and is localized to the nucleus in osteoblast precursor cells. In contrast, in mature osteoblasts, the DMP-1 protein is phosphorylated and localized to the extracellular matrix, where it plays a role in formation of mineralized matrix.

Dentin Matrix Protein-1 (DMP-1 or DMP1) Antibody is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against the KLH-conjugated peptide (90-111) [SGDDTFGDEDNGPGPEERQWGG] derived from the N-terminus of rat DMP-1. Polyclonal anti-DMP-1 is intended for detection of human, mouse, and rat DMP-1.
