Transgene Detection Primer Set

Takara's Transgene Detection Primer Set offers a set of GFP Primers and lacZ primers for screening transgenic mice by qPCR/real-time PCR. The Transgene Detection Primer Set is designed for detection of GFP (EGFP, AcGFP1) and lacZ, both of which are widely used as gene markers in transgenic mice. Transgenic mice can be screened for these markers via qPCR/real-time PCR.

The Reference primer-1 and Reference primer-2 are included as references and detect the mouse genomic Ywhaz and Raver2 genes, respectively. These reference primers enable comparisons of relative transgene quantities between samples.

BGFP primer-1 is designed for detection of EGFP and AcGFP1 sequence.
CGFP primer-2 is designed for detection of EGFP sequence. It can not be used for AcGFP1 detection.
DlacZ primer-1 and -2 are designed for lacZ (beta-galactosidase) gene detection and target different gene sequence sites.
EReference primer-1 is for a part of Ywhaz gene on mouse chromosome 15.
FReference primer-2 is for a part of Raver2 gene on mouse chromosome 4.
