Inducible, lentiviral-mediated CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing

The Lenti-X Tet-On 3G CRISPR/Cas9 System is a complete system for lentiviral-mediated CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing. This system incorporates the Tet-On 3G transactivator protein, which enables users to induce Cas9 expression via the addition of doxycycline.

End-capture RNA-Seq for High-Throughput Differential Expression Analysis

The SMART-Seq v4 3’ DE Kit is designed to preferentially amplify the 3’ ends of RNA transcripts. This kit also incorporates cell barcodes in the form of in-line indexes in order to enable pooling of up to 12 samples per paired Illumina index or up to 1,152 samples per sequencing lane. This kit utilizes the high sensitivity of the SMART-Seq v4 technology while improving throughput and reducing the number of reads required for gene identification.

SMARTer Target RNA Capture for Illumina is a complete system designed to directly capture targets of interest from total RNA. This new method for targeted RNA-seq is highly sensitive, provides full-length sequence information and improved sequence coverage, and reduces experimental costs. In the streamlined protocol, hybridization is completed in under four hours, followed by capture of RNA-DNA complexes using Capture Beads and then cDNA synthesis.

Efficient T-Cell Culture and Expansion Medium

Promoting robust T-cell expansion is an important prerequisite for basic and preclinical studies, including adoptive cell therapy studies. GT-T551 Culture medium, 1L Bottle is ideally suited for expansion of T cells, and is recommended in our protocol for anti-CD3/IL-2 T-cell activation in conjunction with RetroNectin. This protocol results in an expanded cell population that shows a higher proportion of naïve T cells than anti-CD3 antibody stimulation alone. This T cell medium is:

  • Supplemented with human serum albumin, human insulin, L-glutamine, and streptomycin
  • Endotoxin tested (endotoxin <0.3 EU/ml)

A New Kit for Small RNA-Seq

We are excited to announce the development of the SMARTer smRNA-Seq Kit for Illumina, designed specifically for next-gen sequencing of small RNAs. This kit incorporates features from our industry-leading SMART-Seq v4 kit, including SMART technology and locked nucleic acids, to provide the highest sensitivity available. Libraries are generated in a ligation-free manner, ensuring that diverse small RNAs are represented with minimal bias. Features include:

  • Prepare sequencing libraries for small RNAs 15–150 nt in length, including miRNAs, siRNAs, piRNAs, and snoRNAs
  • Start from 1 ng–2 µg of total RNA or enriched small RNA
  • Incorporate Illumina adapters and indexes in a ligation-free manner for sample multiplexing
  • Generate sequencing libraries in ~3 hours and enrich for small RNAs of interest using a gel-free protocol
