Reliable production of high-titer lentivirus in a single step

Lenti-X Packaging Single Shots (VSV-G) provide an extremely simple and consistent one-step method for producing high-titer lentivirus. No additional transfection reagent is needed because this product consists of pre-aliquoted, lyophilized, single tubes of Xfect Transfection Reagent premixed with an optimized formulation of VSV-G pseudotyped Lenti-X lentiviral packaging plasmids. High-titer virus is produced by simply reconstituting this mixture with your lentiviral vector of choice in sterile water and adding it to 293T cells in a 10-cm dish.

  • Exceptionally high titers (107–108 IFU per ml)
  • Simple protocol—Just add your lentiviral DNA, mix, and add to 293T cells
  • No optimization or additional transfection reagent required

The highest-sensitivity ultra-low mRNA-seq kit yet

The SMART-Seq v4 Ultra Low Input RNA Kit for Sequencing is the latest advancement in single-cell mRNA-seq. This kit incorporates and improves on the SMART-Seq2 method, resulting in RNA-seq libraries that identify more genes than ever before and allowing researchers to capture transcriptome data from 1–1,000 intact cells (or 10 pg–10 ng of total RNA) with the highest confidence. cDNA libraries produced with the SMART-Seq v4 kit are compatible with leading sequencing platforms and accurately represent the true composition of the mRNA sample. This latest improvement to our already best-in-class tools helps you push the frontiers of ultra-low input RNA-seq.

  • Higher sensitivity than other ultra-low input methods, so you can identify more transcripts
  • Better reproducibility than previous protocols, particularly with lower-expression transcripts
  • Full-length transcript information inherent in SMART® technology
