S1 Nuclease

S1 Nuclease is an endonuclease that specifically degrades single-stranded nucleic acids, including the single-stranded regions of duplex DNA, RNA or DNA/RNA. S1 Nuclease preferentially targets DNA over RNA. This endonuclease can also introduce single-stranded nicks and breaks in duplex DNA, RNA and DNA/RNA.

S1 Nuclease is supplied in a buffer of 10 mM sodium acetate (pH 4.6), 150 mM NaCl, 0.05 mM ZnSO4 and 50% glycerol.
