Most of the proteins that Clontech has tested show a better destabilization profile when the DD tag is fused to the N-terminus of the protein of interest.

Available with or without a built-in green fluorescent protein transfection control.
C-terminal DD tag ProteoTuner Shield System C A specific DD tag mutant for C-terminal tagging; provides slightly reduced destabilization activity in the absence of Shield1.
For difficult-to-transfect, dividing or non-dividing cells:
