HIV p24 Antigen Detection: Anti-HIV-1 p24 Monoclonal Antibody
HIV-1 virions consist of a viral envelope that encases a capsid that contains two copies of the single-stranded RNA genome. HIV p24 is a capsid protein that forms the conical core of the virus. The HIV p24 antigen can be used to detect HIV-I in plasma samples.
These products are monoclonal antibodies that recognize HIV p24 antigen. The antibodies were raised in mouse using recombinant HIV p24 protein and can be used for Western blot, immunoprecipitation, or flow cytometry.
