The Hepatic Sinusoidal Endothelial Cell (SE-1) Mouse IgG is an affinity-purified monoclonal mouse antibody that recognizes rat hepatic SE cells. The antibody is generated in mice using rat hepatic SE cells as the antigen. It can be used for Western blot (WB) or immunohistochemical (IHC) detection of rat hepatic SE cells.
Sinusoidal endothelial (SE) cells comprise approximately 50% of the non-parenchymal hepatic cellular mass and play an important role in hepatic microcirculation. They are morphologically unique because they do not possess a basement membrane, forming a fenestrated monolayer instead. Hepatic SE fenestrae control the exchange of materials between the blood and the liver parenchyma, making a powerful scavenger system. The hepatic SE cell mouse monoclonal antibody can be used to study the role of liver SE cells in various physiological and pathological conditions.
