Anti-Mouse/Rat Flotillin-1 (C) Rabbit IgG Antibody

Caveolae are small domains on the inner cell membrane that are involved in vesicular trafficking and signal transduction. The FLOT1 gene encodes a caveolae-associated, integral membrane protein, known as flotillin-1. Its function is unknown; however, it has been proposed that flotillin-1 may act as a scaffolding protein within caveolar membranes. Flotillin-1 is also known as integral membrane component of caveolae, reggie-2, and rareg.

This product is an affinity-purified IgG antibody that recognizes mouse and rat flotillin-1 protein. The antibody was raised in rabbit using a synthetic peptide, and can be used for Western blot (WB) detection or immunohistochemical (IHC) detection of mouse and rat flotillin-1 protein.
