The NucleoSpin 96 DNA Plasma kit is designed for the parallel isolation of cell-free DNA (cfDNA) from up to 2 ml of blood plasma in a 96-well format. After lysis of the plasma sample, cfDNA is effectively bound to a silica membrane without carrier RNA. Elution may be performed under vacuum without the risk of cross-contamination. The design of the NucleoSpin Plasma Binding Plate and the option of performing the complete procedure under vacuum allow the NucleoSpin 96 DNA Plasma kit to easily be adapted to common liquid handling instruments for fully automated processing without any manual steps.
The NucleoSpin 96 DNA Plasma kit can be used manually with the NucleoVac 96 Vacuum Manifold. The kit is suitable for automation on laboratory platforms with standard 96-well plate vacuum chambers.
